The Metolius BRD Belay Rappel Device is lightweight, ergonomic, and easy to use. But the BRD's greatest asset is its clever rope slots that provide additional control by increasing friction on the rope. Machined from solid 6061 T-6 aluminum, its double slots also offer single or double rope capabilities. An ergonomic horn gives enhanced control while lowering and rappelling.
