Metolius Power Cams were designed by top rock climbers to be easy to place when pumped out twenty feet above your last piece of protection. Compared with single stem units, the U-shape Metolius body and trigger configuration give one, two or three finger retraction. They are just plain easier to hang onto when pumped! Thicker cam faces on each individual cam increase surface area and generate more outward force, providing increased holding power throughout the cam's active range. Hence the name "Power Cam." They also give you instant, intuitive feedback on the quality of your placement thanks to a 'Range Finder' feature which is a bunch of dots (green, yellow, and red) on the actual cam lobes that help climbers determine if a placement is bomber, marginal, or suicidal. To sum up the Power Cam, they offer more holding power, they're super lightweight, precision-engineered and the easiest to place.
