Metolius Power Cams were designed by top rock climbers to be easy to place when pumped out and twenty feet above your last piece of protection. Compared with single stem units, the U-shape Metolius body and trigger configuration give one, two, or three finger retraction. They are just plain easier to hang onto when pumped. Thicker faces on each individual cam increase surface area and generate more outward force, providing superior holding power throughout the cam's active range. Hence the name. They also give you instant, intuitive feedback on the quality of your placement thanks to a Range Finder feature which is a bunch of dots (green, yellow, and red) on the actual cam lobes that help climbers determine if a placement is bomber, marginal, or suicidal.
