A 4x5 foot tarp unfolds to keep your rope off of the dirt and gives you a place to stretch, if you can get your dog off of it. Metolius Rope Ranger Bag is a handy way to carry your rope, shoes, and a set of quickdraws to the local rock. The Rope Ranger offers a large volume bag for your rope, a zippered pouch on the outside of the bag, and two carry straps so it can be worn like a backpack.
Packs your rope with comfort
A rope bag is a rope bag for the most
part but the Rope Ranger has a superior harness system. You can carry the Rope
Ranger like a backpack or a messenger bag and either way is very comfortable.
This bag does it all !!!
Actually, this bag does NOT do it all. And I'm glad
it doesn't. It's simple, clean, functional. There aren't any extra gizmos or
features that add little value but jack up the price. It is what it's supposed
to be and no more. It's easy to use and elimates the need to coil the rope after
every outing. (Sure, coiling may only take 4 minutes but that's 4 minutes sooner
that you'll be at the watering hole enjoying your favorite post-climb beverage.)
This is more practical than hauling that old tarp with you everywhere you go.
It's lighter, works better, and can store your rope between climbs.
