Gear Loops
This is a lightweight harness that packs down small
with the new Petzl no-double-back buckles, no padding, a single tie-in/belay
loop, and only one gear loop. I was going to take it for some alpine ice
climbing in the Sierras the last couple trips, but havenĈt gotten around to
sewing on additional gear loops. It is a clever design that adjusts easily to
fit the fattest and skinniest climber. IĈve been using a harness from Rock
Empire with aluminum buckles. It is lightweight with plenty of padding and gear
loops and the like but it is bulky in my pack. For back country trips with
minimal hanging belays, IĈm going to switch over to the Pandion as soon as I can
figure out the gear loop problem.
