The Black Diamond Quicksilver2 Anodized Quickdraw is BD's answer to climbers who prefer a wiregate on the rope-clipping end of the draw. A Quicksilver2 is on the top of this draw, providing a wide gate opening for easy bolt clipping, while an anodized HotWire is on the bottom, keeping things light and providing an easy-to-clip connection to the rope. The hooded nose of the HotWire protects against gate flutter and gate whiplash, while simultaneously reducing the chance of the gate being rubbed open. Good product
Bought these as my first set of quickdraws. They are
super light, strong, and get the job done. Clipping in is a breeze. They are,
however, a little short (5") but I have not encounted any problems while sport
climbing. I'd def. recommend them.
very serviceable draw
This is a
very nice basic quickdraw for sport climbing. Wiregates on the rope end are the
only way to go.
